The Hermitage was built in 1751 in a place already known to pilgrimages from the time when San Corrado Confalonieri died in 1351. Below the Eremo flows the “Torrente San Corrado”, whose water, conveyed into small pipes in the so-called “Fonte di San Corrado di Fuori” is drinkable. The square facing the Hermitage can be used to make some nice outings.
